Nestled in a picturesque mountain setting, the hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the stunning Škocjan caves and the surrounding region. Our family room was spacious, combining two separate bedrooms, creating a sense of privacy for our little ones, which is always a bonus when traveling. We arrived late, hungry, and to our delight, the restaurant offered us a simple yet comforting meal even though it was past regular hours. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with lush greenery surrounding the dining area, a wonderful touch. Each morning began with a hearty breakfast, and I appreciated how they quickly replenished anything we finished, a small detail that spoke volumes about their commitment to guest satisfaction. One evening, the charming owners even lent a helping hand by driving us to the train station when our taxi fell through. While this region may lack numerous dining options, don't overlook the Osterija's culinary offerings. I will cherish the memories and flavors from this trip and can't wait to return.
